Family connections for John (Yeomans) are: YEOMANS John (Yeomans) was born in 1767. He was tried w/2others for burglary at Warwickshire Assizes on 31 7 1790, sentenced to death reprieved to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 9 7 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship BRITANNIA. On 5 4 1798 he married as an emancipist Mary (Cassidy her second marriage) emancipist at St Phillips CofE Sydney. He seems to have adopted his wifes children. He was Free by Servitude by 1800. [Some details taken from this Website] Mary (Cassidy) was born about 1770/3. She was convicted, as a native of Dublin, at Dublin City, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 18 11 1792 after a voyage of 10months on KITTY. She is noted as having married William (Crew) about 1796 at Sydney, but Profesor Craig James (Smee) does not record this. She was Free by Servitude by 1798. She died on 15 12 1835 age65 mother of 10children. He died on 16 8 1800 age7m & was buried at St Phillips CofE Sydney. 2.George (Yeomans) was born on 7 6 1801. He had a first relationship with Mary Jane (Lisson sister John her first marriage).
