Richard Yewdle was convicted at Wiltshire 10/03/1827 for horse stealing. 14 yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land on the 'Asia 3', arriving 07/12/1827. Aged 23yrs; b. Cosley, Wiltshire; single; Hazel eyes; brown hair; Protestant. Parents at Frome Woodland. Further offence in Colony: 15/05/1830 assigned to T. Anstey - sexual assault of child (of his Master). Guilty. Death sentence. Executed 10/07/1830.
