Offence Burglary of prosecutor’s house and stealing wearing apparel. Prisoner aged 18.

Plea Not guilty.
Verdict Guilty.
Punishment Death recorded.

Assigned to William Dun - Patterson’s Plains on arrival.

1832: Sentenced to 3 years in a penal settlement for attempting the life of his overseer and striking him with a bludgeon, Newcastle.

Sent to Norfolk Island.
18/8/1835: Returned.

20/1/1836: Absconded from J Wighton since 5th Jan.
7/9/1836: Absconded from the AA Company, Port Stephens.
28/9/1836: Apprehended.
1837: Assigned to the AA Company, Port Stephens.

23/6/1843: TOL

1843: Married - the only marriage on the NSW BDM was to Jane Coonan at Mulgoa.

15/10/1843: Tried at the Sydney Supreme Court for Highway Robbery being armed - sentenced to life.

1/3/1844: Arrived VDL per ‘Louisa’

15/11/1844: Was at Port Arthur.

23/7/1846: Tried for stealing from a dwelling house - Sent to Norfolk Island again.

17/11/1849: To be sent to VDL for disposal.
