1837, 24 August: Russell Abbott was admitted to Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin, prisoner # 796, charged with larceny; a sentence of 7 years was recorded at the Co Limerick Trinity Sessions 1837; 35, 5’6”, grey eyes, dark brown hair, dark complexion; sent on board the Neptune 26 August 1837 (see Ireland, Prison Registers, 1790-1924, Dublin, Kilmainham 1836-1910).

Patrick Allen was 34 years old on arrival. Native Place: Limerick City. Patrick was literate, roman catholic, married with 3 male and 3 female children, 5'6" tall, dark sallow complexion, dark brown hair, grey eyes, raised mole on back of left side of neck, scar on back of little finger of right hand, mark of a severe burn on right knee, extending towards the shin. 26/2/1842: TOL, Merton.
