*** TWO JOHN ANDERSONS' ON THIS VOYAGE *** 1ST JOHN ANDERSON TRIED AT EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND.. John Anderson (Identifier 2) was listed as 20 years old on arrival. Place of Birth: Stratford, Warwickshire. Previous convictions: Running from my master. Transported for 'housebreaking stealing money 3 pounds odd handkerchiefs & wearing apparel'. John was 5'6¼" tall, literate, dark complexion, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, single, C of E, Father: John Mother: Mary Brothers: John, Henry, Thomas, Islington. 14/9/1852: TOL 29/3/1853: TOL revoked, absent from muster. 17/10/1854: Tried Hobart SC for uttering a forged cheque - to be transported for 15 years, 4 years probation at Port Arthur. 29/3/1859: TOL 14/2/1860-16/7/1861: Absconding from P.A. 19/7/1861: Port Barracks. 5/10/1861: TOL 2/10/1866: TOL revoked - absent (from muster??).
