The Lady Castlereagh arrived at Port Jackson (Sydney) and landed 39 male convicts then continued onto VDL 11/6/1818 landing 261 male convicts. John and (brother??) James Attwood were disembarked in Sydney. 14/7/1817 Hampshire Chronicle Hampshire, England: The following prisoners stand committed for trial at the ensuing Assizes for Hampshire :James Attwood and John Attwood, for breaking and entering the dwelling-house of Wm. Morgan, at Millbrook, and stealing therefrom seven cotton gown pieces, and variety of other articles, his property. Colonial Secretary papers: ATTWOOD, James. No positive death date for James found - 16/8/1843 (Newspaper) Report of Insolvent Estate of James Attwood of George Street, Liverpool, labourer - placed under Sequestration. Mary Ann Prendergast died 9/11/1856, aged 65.
