TRIAL: 7 July, 1856: Oxford Trinity Sessions, Oxford -- charged, with his co-accused Thomas Innes, with breaking, entering and stealing from the dwelling of Elizabeth Blossom several bottles of ginger beer and lolly pops. He was convicted, with a previous conviction for felony taken into account, and sentenced to 6 years' penal servitude. Thomas Inness, also found guilty, was sentenced to 6 months' jail (England & Wales, Criminal Registers, 1791-1892; England; Oxfordshire; 1856). --0--
