Sentence; 14 years. Trade; Laborer Offence; Receiving a case of pistols Tried Surry for Street Robbery & was sentenced to 7 years. Status; Widow. No children. Wife; dead 7 months. Hulk Records, HO-9-4_2 Received at Justicia Hulk, 6 Nov 1815. Richd. Baldwin, age 15, Felony, tried at Newington 23 Oct 1815, sentenced - Beyond the seas, 7 years, Transported 30 Nov 1815. Three other boys were tried the same day, sent to the hulk the same day and all transported on the Atlas: Daniel Roberts, aged 17, Charles Clark, aged 12, and Charles McDonald,aged 13.

POLICE OFFICE, HOBART TOWN, Saturday, July 18th, 1818 WHEREAS ... and - James Blake, a Convict, tried in Surrey came from England in the Ship Marquis of Wellington, aged 27 years, complexion sallow, hair and whiskers black, is stout made, late servant to Mr. Dry at Launceston; - and Richard Baldwin, a Convict, tried at Surrey, came from England in the Ship Atlas (the 3d), is about 18 or 19 years of age, slight made, late servant to Mr. Dry at Launceston; -have absconded from their lawful Occupations in the County of Cornwall.
