Patrick Beahan Alias: Behan Beaghan Beahan was born in Kildare, Lenister, Ireland and was 26 years old on arrival in NSW. Patrick was married to Mary ??? in 1805, son Thomas B1805 (he arrived as a convict per Medina 1823) And 1 daughter Alicia. 1816: TOL 1822 Census: Was 35 years old and at Windsor, Hawkesbury, NSW Behan, Patrick, ticket of leave, Archduke Charles, life, landholder, Windsor 26/2/1824: COF 6/9/1824 Memorial to the Colonial Secretary: To His Excellency Sir Thomas Brisbane... The Memorial of Patrick Beahan of Evan Most Respectfully Sheweth That your Excellency's Memorialist is free by servitude these five years past, that he occupies a rented farm in the District of Evan, that he is a married man and has one son with him, and is in daily expectation of his wife and the rest of his children joining him, through the clemency of Government affording them a passage to the Colony being very anxious of making some provision previous to their arrival and otherwise bettering his situation in life, he approaches your Excellency humbly praying the indulgence of a Grant of Land (as he never had any from Government) whence he might establish himself, and which would greatly contribute to his wellbeing and support.... 1828 Census: November 1828 (Age 41) at Evan, Greater Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Bahan, Patrick, 41, free by servitude, Archduke Charles, 1813, 7 years, Catholic, farmer, Evan, 20 acres, 20 acres cleared and cultivated, 1 horse, 3 horned cattle Bahan, Mary, 40, came free, Thames, 1825 Bahan, Alicia, 16, came free, Thames, 1825 1837: Patrick died at Penrith, NSW.
