1829 - Waterloo's first voyage arrived at Sydney Cove 9 July 1829. 180 Male Convicts. 2 Died on voyage. 7 sent to the hospital on landing. Total mustered; 171. Stephen Addison - Commander Michael Goodsire - Surgeon Superintendent [His wife was a passenger] 1842 - The Waterloo voyage of 1842 was wrecked on 28/8/1842. 189 people drowned, these being 143 convicts, 15 men of the 99th Regiment, together with 17 wives and children, the boatswain Mr. Chiverton, the sailmaker, the carpenter and 11 of the crew. Convicts were then received in Cape Town Prison from the wreck of the Waterloo, 2nd September 1842. They then completed their voyage to VDL per “Cape Packet” which arrived on 23/11/1842.

Sorry he would have been about 17 years of age when he came to Australia not 29.

He was age 29 when he arrived in Australia and live at a place called Dingo Creek(Wingham)NSW when he was freed. Married in Port Macquarie to Catherine O'Donnell in about 1853. She arrived on board the "Tippoo Saib" as an assisted migrant. Born about 1832 and her death was 1871. They had about 10 childen.
