Family connections for Joseph (Bennett) are: Amendments added Jun 2025. BENNETT Joseph (Bennett) was tried at Warwick Assizes, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 31 12 1820 after a voyage of 4.5months on ELIZABETH. He was Free by Servitude by 1827 & was recorded as a labourer at Prospect. He married Ann (Hanlon her second marriage) on 2 10 1827 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. He was recorded as a shopkeeper at Parramatta in 1829. [Some details taken from this Website.] Ann (Hanlon) was born on 7 5 1805 & baptised on 14 7 1805 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. She, as Ann (Handlin), had a first relationship with William (Monks his first relationship). She produced at least 5children in her lifetime-all girls. [Noted dates don't quite fit] Details of Ann (Hanlon)s family are given in entry for John (Handlin MINERVA 1800) on this Website. Joseph (Bennett) & Ann (Handlin) produced at least 2children: girls 1.Ann (Bennett) was born on 3 7 1827 & baptised on 15 7 1827 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. 2.Susannah (Bennett) was born on 22 7 1829 & baptised on 23 8 1829 at St Johns CofE Parramatta.
