Ireland in 1799, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 30 10 1802 after a voyage of 5months on ATLAS. He became a farmer. He was Free by Servitude at Bunbury Curran by 1811 when he had a relationship with Frances (Wean/Wrixon/Moyer) whom he later married on 19 6 1820 at St Marys RC Sydney. He is recorded in 1823 at Airds. [Some details taken from this Website] Frances (Wean/Moyer) was born about 1776. She arrived in Australia as a wife in 1808 on SINCLAIR-not a convict ship. John (Bent) & Frances (Wean/Moyer) produced 7children: 1.Mary (Bent) was born in 1811.
