Tasmanian Archives Conduct Report CON33/1/56 Image 12. On 28 Nov 1842 in the Hertfordshire County Assizes he was found guilty of larceny and sentenced to be whipped. Convicted of stealing one drake. This was his second sentence. Granted Ticket of Leave in July 1848. Conditional Pardon: 4 Dec 1849. Free Pardon: 13 May 1857. William Blackaby married Ann Wakeham on 11 Sep 1851 in Launceston, Tasmania. They had at least 9 children. William is buried in St Peter's Churchyard cemetery, St Leonards, Launceston, Tasmania.
