Family connections for William (Bowd) are: BOWD William Joshua? (Bowd/Brown) was born about 1793 & became a farmer. He was tried for theft probably at Old Bailey, sentenced to Life, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 27 1 1815 after a voyage of 6months on MARQUIS OF WELLINGTON. He was Free by Servitude by 1815. He was living at Wilberforce as a farmer when he married Margaret Jane (Moore) on 19 3 1822 of Wilberforce at St Matthews CofE Windsor. He died on 18 1 1866 age about 73. [Some details taken from this Website] Margaret Jane (Moore) was born on 21 8 1804 & baptised on 25 12 1804 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. She was living at Wilberforce in 1822. He was recorded in 1828 & 1830 as a farmer. She died on 7 12 1880 age76. Details of Margaret Jane (Moore)s family are given in entry for Tristram (Moore ATLAS 1802) on this Website. William (Bowd) & Margaret Jane (Moore) produced at least 4children: 1.Thomas (Bowd) was born on 10 10 1822 at Wilberforce & baptised on 22 12 1822 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. He died on 28 2 1906 age83. 2.Tristram (Bowd) was born on 11 12 1824 at Wilberforce & baptised on 26 10 1828 age3 w/Joshua at St Johns CofE Wilberforce. He died on 29 9 1902 age77. 3.Joshua (Bowd) was born on 7 9 1828 at Wilberforce & baptised on 26 10 1828 w/Tristram at St Johns CofE Wilberforce. He died on 26 3 1859 age30. 4.Elizabeth (Bowd) was born on 8 9 1830 at Wilberforce & baptised on 10 10 1830 at St Johns CofE Wilberforce.
