In the colony, John married Elizabeth Smith (Irish Convict, 1815, "Francis & Eliza"). #489... John Brennen, prisoner ship Arch Duke Charles age 30 of the parish of St John Parramatta and Elizabeth Smith of ditto ship Francis and Eliza, age 25 were married in this church by banns this fourth day of October 1815 by me Samuel Marsden. John and Elizabeth both made their X marks in the register in the presence of Bryan Murphy who signed the register and Mary Murphy who made her X mark.
