11/6/1840: Tried at Bathurst QS for killing sheep - 10 years, 1840: Sent to Norfolk Island. 12/10/1845: Arrived VDL per 'Lady Franklin'. Described as: Literate, Pastry cook and baker, 32 years old, 5'0¼" tall, fresh complexion, dark brown hair and whiskers, hazel eyes, lancet mark on right arm, slight scar on left cheek. Sent to Port Cygnet for one year. 15/5/1846: Emerged from Gang. 15/9/1846: TOL 23/5/1848: TOL Revoked. 7/6/1850: Free Certificate.
