Built in Shields 1809. Two decked, sheathed in copper. Owner - H. Moore. Shipwrecked in June 1816 on a voyage from Quebec to Halifax, near Green Island.

Possible family connections for John (Burke) are: Some amendments added Jun 2025. BURKE In the colony: a John (Burke)s had a relationship with Mary (Spalding/Minton her second relationship). He was Free by Servitude by 1826. Mary Charlotte (Spalding) was born in 1798. She married firstly Michael (Minton his third marriage) on 3 10 1821 & produced 2children. She left her husband for a short time in November 1822. She was accused of assisting murder of her husband on 22 8 1824 & was acquitted. After her husband was murdered in 1824 she abandoned her children. She produced 4children in her lifetime. He was Free by Servitude by 1807. He was appointed as constable in Sydney & is recorded working from 1820-24. He was recorded in 1828 as householder at Castlereagh St Sydney with a son.
