It would appear that there is some confusion with James. There were indeed two James Byrne convicts transported on 'Providence' and landing 2nd July 1811. Neither of these two are recorded in the 1811 Muster (presumably arrived too late?). However, one is recorded [5640 page 127] in the 1814 Muster. But this is NOT the correct James!! He had died in 1812. James was married in Ireland to Eleanor Neil (Convict; Providence, 1811) and the couple had two daughters Esther and Hannah. Eleanor was also transported on Providence and the two young children accompanied her. It would seem that James did not survive the colony long and his death is recorded in 1812: NSW BMD records V18122936 2A/1812. 6th March 1812, aged 50. Unfortunately, this means there are no muster records at all for James. Young Hannah also died, in 1813 and is recorded as Hannah Byrne: BDM V18132991 2A/1813. Eleanor is listed in the 1814 Muster records as Eleanor Neil and shown with 2 children (un-named): M3574 page 280. His widow then remarried to John Murphy (Convict; Tellicherry, 1806). they had a further 3 children, Bridget, Catherine and John. James' daughter Esther later married James Leavers (Convict; Glatton, 1803) and her surname was recorded as Burn or Bunn. Esther and James had 5 children.
