20/1/1820 Globe London, England: Quarter Sessions, John Leach and James Carter were indicted for stealing thirteen turkies and two geese, the property of John Pasheller Esq. of Godinanchester. Leach having turned King’s evidence, Carter was found Guilty, and sentenced seven years Colonial Secretary Papers: CARTER, James. Per "Elizabeth", 1820 1823 Jun 20: Servant of Thomas Pye.
