On these voyages, she also carried 'Pensioner Guards' and their families, a few free passengers and soldiers. The 1862 voyage went via Bermuda and picked up British and local prisoners.

James Clapson was unmarried, semi literate, 5'6" tall, light red hair, blue eyes, fresh complexion, stout, scar on forehead, mole on right eyebrow. 25/10/1866: TOL Known Areas: Perth Fremantle. Comments: Cook, tailor, brickmaker, wood cutter, general servant. 3/10/1871: James died at the Fremantle Hospital from a burst blood vessel.
