Letitia Cobb was transported on the Elizabeth 1828 with her sister Eleanor. Letitia was 15 years old, could read, catholic, 4'11½" tall, ruddy and freckled complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, single. 11/6/1831: Permission to marry William Burton (Marquis of Hastings 1827) he was 26 and on bond, Letitia was 18 and on bond. 20/6/1831: Married at St.Lukes, Liverpool, County Cumberland, Sydney, NSW by banns. They had 8 children. 7/6/1834: COF 27/3/1892: Letitia died at Deccan Street, Goulburn, NSW., aged 79. William Burton died 2/7/1891 - both buried at Goulburn.
