Michael Enright CONNOR was convicted by Judge Crampton on 17 July 1837 at Co Kerry and sentenced to life for sheep stealing. He was admitted to Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin, on 24 August 1837 where he was described as prisoner #816, 55 years old, 5'4", with hazel eyes, grey hair and a fresh complexion. He was discharged from Kilmainham to be sent aboard the Neptune on 26 August 1837 (see Ireland, Prison Registers, 1790-1924, Dublin, Kilmainham 1836-1910).
