Tried at High Court, Aberdeen Dates 19 Sep 1837 Accused George Coutts, Verdict: Guilty, Sentence: Transportation - 14 years Previous convictions: theft - April 1835 Paul Fraser, Verdict: Guilty, Sentence: Transportation - 7 years. Note: Pannel cannot write. Robert Sangster, alias Johnston, Andrew, Verdict: Guilty, Sentence: Transportation - 7 years Previous convictions: theft - 10 August 1831. Note: Pannel cannot write. Robert Sangster arrived NSW per 'Bengal Merchant' 1838. Paul Fraser arrived NSW per 'Earl Grey' 1838. George Coutts was listed as 19 years old on arrival. Native Place: Aberdeen, Scotland. George was 5'7" tall, pale complexion, light brown hair, grey eyes. 7/5/1844: TOL (newspaper date). 9/10/1847: CP (newspaper date).
