Edward Curran had a 7 yr sentence (per “Boyd” convict indent and muster rolls) was aged 30 on arrival in NSW with 7 yr sentence. (Per “Boyd” Muster Rolls 1809)
Departed Cork in March 1809 and arrived NSW Aug 1809.
Was probably assigned straight away to John Cummings.
COl Sec Letters - Jan 1810 Cummings sought approval for him, his wife and three children to go to Hobart taking Edward Curran with him as his servant. Approved.
Went to Hobart on the “Estramina”
Mar 1811 muster - residence Hobart, convict, - Says Life.
1819 DIED at Hobart. 18 April 1819, buried 21st April. (from burial registers of St David’s parish, Hobart)
