Reference: ADM 101/47/5 Medical journal of the Mangles, convict ship for 24 December 1827 to 13 June 1828 by H Cochrane, surgeon and superintendent, during which time the ship was employed in a passage to New South Wales. Folios 36-39: Edward Dalton, aged 28, convict; case number 17; sick or hurt, dysentery; put on sick list, 27 May 1828 at sea. Discharged 5 June 1828.
