Colonial Secretary Index. DANIEL, John. Per "Greyhound", 1819 1819 May 26 On list of convicts arrived per "Greyhound" from India (Reel 6006; 4/3500 p.128) -------------------------------------------------- John Daniels and John Watson, two prisoners that had escaped the Colony a few months since, and returned hither by the brig Greyhound, were this day brought before the Bench of Magistrates, and sentenced to be publicly whipped, and sent to Newcastle. Sydney Gazette, 24 April 1819
