She married ??? (???) who died, perhaps before her transportation. She was tried with her sister Ann/e for stealing clothes at Dublin Ireland in 1826, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict with her sister on 4 2 1827 after a voyage of 4months on BROTHERSalso; she was Catholic. She was recorded in 1828 at Female Government Factory Parramatta. She married John (Hogan) on 3 9 1827 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. She, wife of John (Hogan), died in 1828 age about30 at Barren Ridges (near Wollongong?), by the visitation of God-a violent fit of coughing causing rupture of a blood vessel in the lungs. ..[Some details taken from this Website] ..John (Hogan) was born aboyt 1793/97 perhaps in Wexford Ireland & became a general labourer. He was tried at Waterford city Lent Assizes Waterford co. Ireland in 1819, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 17 12 1819 after a voyage of 3.5months on MINERVA; he was sent to Parramatta for distribution; He was Catholic 5' 8.25" fair sallow complexion dark flaxen hair hazel eyes. He apparantly complained of rations given to convicts on board the ship. He was recorded in 1822 as assigned to W (Lawson)s Clearing Party at Parramatta. He was tried for stealing wearing apparel from a cart on Parramatta Rd on a journey to Sydney at Sydney General Sessions on 26 10 1825, sentenced to 18months & transported to Port Macquarie on ELIZABETH HENRIETTA on 29 11 1825-to be returned in May 1828?. He was issued his Certificate of Freedom no.27/408 on 4 5 1827. Permission was given for him to marry Mary (Donaghy BROTHERS 1827also) on 18 9 1827; the marriage sems to not have taken place. He was recorded in 1828 as Free by Servitude constable at Parramatta. It may be he who was dismissed as constable in January 1829 for improper conduct. He was issued another Certificate of Freedom no.29/193 on 16 3 1829.
