Julia (O’Neill) was daughter of Peter (O'Neill) convict MARINER 1827. Daniel Risley (Nightingale) was son of Daniel Risley (Nightingale) convict STRATHFIELDSAYE 1836.

He was tried for sheep stealing of Mr (Cooper) of Willoughby at Lincoln Assizes on 5 3 1831, sentenced to death reprieved to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 8 6 1832 after a voyage of 4.5months on JOHN. He received his Ticket of Leave for Bathurst in 1840 & married Julia Neil/(O'Neill) on 17 2 1841 at Rockley. He received his Conditional Pardon/Certificate of Freedom on 1 9 1848. He was a farmer at Jumpers Flat Rockley & in 1859 had a licence for Rockley Inn. He died in 1898 age about86 at Rockley & was buried at Long Swamp. She was a nursemaid for Mrs (Bate) in Sydney for 1year. She moved to Bathurst in 1840 from Sydney. She died on 29 7 1876 age57 at Jumpers Flat & was buried at Long Swamp.
