Thomas Edwards was transported on the Henry, departing 31st Mar 1823 and arriving 26th Aug 1823 with 161 passengers.
Henry 1825. The ship Henry, Captain Ferrier, arrived at Hobart Town, on the 9th ult. with 79 female prisoners, all whom were landed with the exception of two. There were also on board 25 free women, and 33 children, who came out, at the expence of Government, to join their husbands and parents. Sydney Gazette, 3 Mar 1825.

New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930 for Thomas Edwards 8/1/1833 H M Barracks death recorded to the hulk New South Wales, Australia, Convict Death Register, 1826-1879 23/7/1835 died at Norfolk island age 31
Most likely the Thomas Edwards arrested March 9, 1822 along with John Appleby, alias Fields, and confederates in what appeared a horse stealing ring. Sentenced to Death 16 March, 1822. Transported with Appleby to the Bellerphon Prison Hulk and may have been involved with Appleby along the way or at the Hulk in an escape attempt. But after the Hulk they parted with Appleby arriving in 1823 on the Commodore Hayes and Edwards on the Henry.
