Place of origin: Oxfordshire 1849 - Birth of child ” SARAH ANN FERREMAN' Born on the 17 March 1849 and Baptised on the 24 March 1849 in the Female House of Correction. Sarah died in the Nursery on the 23 July 1849. 17 October 1850. Ticket of Leave request was refused. 1850 - Birth of still born child on the 27 November 1850 in the Female House of Correction. 1850 employed by Murray Burgess. 1852 employed by Robert Humphreys. Permission to Marry Edward Freeman requested 10 November 1852. Married in the St George's Church on the 15 February 1853 to Henry Withers. Henry was aged 21 years old and a Mariner. Charlotte was aged 32 years old. 13 April 1852. Granted a Ticket of Leave but was ordered not to reside in Hobart Town. The order was revoked on the 29 April 1852. Ticket of Leave was revoked on the 1 November 1853 due to being absent from her authorized place of residence. 13 December 1853 was charged with absconding and sentenced to 3 months hard labor. 1854 - Birth of child ” HENRY FERRIMAN" Born on the 5 April 1854 at the Female House of Correction. [Noted as Illigitimate] Received Certificate [of Freedom] 16 October 1855. 1908 - DEATH. Charlotte Withers. Aged; 81 years old, Widow. Cornelian Bay Cemetery. Date of burial: 25 Aug 1908
