6/8/1836 Norfolk Chronicle Norfolk, England: Robert Fitt, aged 33, pleaded guilty to having stolen one ram, the property W. V. Lee Warner, Esq. Robert Fitt was listed as 33 years old on arrival. Native Place: Norfolk. Robert was literate, protestant, married with 5 children, 5'9" tall, brown hair, brown complexion, dark hazel eyes, lost all the front upper teeth except one, scar left eyebrow, another left cheek bone, scar bridge of nose, three small moles front of neck. Son of William Fitt and Annie Fitt Married Maria Kittmer (b 8/8/1803-d 29/12/1869 at Liverpool UK. Children: 1824: Henry 1825: Saran Ann Stephenson 1829: Benjamin 1831: Mary 1833: Henry 1844: TOL Paterson Bench 26/8/1845: TOL Passport, Paterson Bench. 1/2/1849: Newspaper date: CP. 21/6/1882: Robert Fitt died at Tamworth, NSW., aged 78. Listed as FITZ on NSW BDM. Daughter Saran Ann Fitt immigrated to Australia in 1855 aboard the 'Asiatic'.
