This morning, John Forrest, and William Telfair, alias Johnston, were brought to the bar of the High Court of Justiciary, accused of horse stealing. The diet against Telfair was deserted  pro loco et tempore. and Forrest having pleaded Guilty, was sentenced to transportation for life. Caledonian Mercury, 25 Nov 1822.
