Death registration at Hobart on 8 Aug 1851 for Mary Gambion, 3yrs 2mths (female convict's child) 31 Jan 1853: Married Amos EVERETT at Hobart (ref. 37/1/12 no. 668. n.b. Registration index has her name as "Gamtion". 8 Nov 1853: Ticket of Leave granted. 5 June 1855: Conditional Pardon granted. 22 June 1857: Certificate of Freedom. Children: Sarah EVERITT (note spelling) b. 3 Dec 1853 Hobart (ref. 33/1/5 no. 363). Father - Amos Everitt, New Town Road. Mother - Margaret Lanigan (would appear to be incorrect registration of mother's name "Gambion". Amos Everett b. 21 Jan 1855 Hobart (ref. 33/1/5 no. 1819). Father - Amos Everett, labourer. Mother - Margaret Everett formerly Gampion. John Thomas Everitt b. 23 July 1858 Hobart (ref. 33/1/7 no. 1725). Father - Amos Everitt, labourer. Mother - Margaret Campion (incorrect registration of name - "Gambion") Agnes Everett born 5 Sept 1861 at Hobart (ref. 1/8 no. 4639). Father - Amos Everett, labourer. Mother - Margaret Everett formerly Gambion. 6 Oct 1864: Death of Margaret Everett (most likely this Margaret although next of kin not stated on registration) - died in childbirth. Hobart.
