William Gleeson was 30 years old, the son of Denis Gleeson and his uncle Cornelius Bourke were all transported for the manslaughter of James Hayes. William was sent to Port Macquarie with his father and they were joined by their families. William's wife, Johanna (nee Crough/Crowe) and his son Denis Jnr.((1836-1918) arrived per Panama in 1849. 1846: TOL Port Phillip 9/8/1851: CP William was assigned to Messrs Dutton, Victoria. After receiving their TOL's, Denis Snr, William and Cornelius all made their way to the Port Fairy/Yambuk,Koroit areas of Victoria. 1890: William died at Yambuk in Victoria.
