Glasgow Chronicle newspaper dated 6th Oct 1847... Archibald Glen was charged with theft. Between 8th and 15th June 1847. He stole from Ferryfield, Printfield parish of Bonhill, a copper roller or shell the property of Guthrie, Kinloch & co aggravated by previous convictions, trail took place on Thursday 30th September 1847
