1829 - Waterloo's first voyage arrived at Sydney Cove 9 July 1829. 180 Male Convicts. 2 Died on voyage. 7 sent to the hospital on landing. Total mustered; 171. Stephen Addison - Commander Michael Goodsire - Surgeon Superintendent [His wife was a passenger] 1842 - The Waterloo voyage of 1842 was wrecked on 28/8/1842. 189 people drowned, these being 143 convicts, 15 men of the 99th Regiment, together with 17 wives and children, the boatswain Mr. Chiverton, the sailmaker, the carpenter and 11 of the crew. Convicts were then received in Cape Town Prison from the wreck of the Waterloo, 2nd September 1842. They then completed their voyage to VDL per “Cape Packet” which arrived on 23/11/1842.

Convict Notes
Samuel Gunby was 23 years old when charged by Thomas Rutter of Candlesby, farmer, with stealing from his barn, a fork, spade and sieve, the property of his father John Rutter and a gun, the property of Mrs Rutter of Hogsthorpe. Samuel was also charged by John Brookds of Theddlethorpe, farmer, with stealing a bushes of wheat, his property at Scremby. 1836: TOL St Vincent 4/10/1837: TOL Passport 2/3/1843: COF 1850: TOL Maitland. 17/6/1848 Goulburn Circuit Court: Larceny: Samuel was indicted with 2 others for stealing 200lbs of sugar and 40lbs of tea, 28lbs of tea and all the chattels of Arthur Richard Zouch at Goulburn. All were sentenced to 5 years on the roads. 1851: NSW BDM - married Harriet Cole. No children or date of death found.
