Convicted of Theft aggravated by opening lockfast places and by previous conviction at the High Court of Justiciary at Edinburgh, Scotland, 03 February 1851. Then aged 21 years and by trade a Labourer. Sentence: 7 years' transportation. Licence granted: 17 May 1854, for early release from Warrior hulk prison [moored at Woolwich].
