Tried Glasgow, 21 Sept 1848 - 7 years transportation for stealing a basket of eggs at Glasgow Description: laborer, 5'6", age 21, fresh complexion, head medium, hair brown, no whiskers, oval face, medium forehead, brown eyebrows, grey eyes, medium nose, mouth & chin. Roman Catholic. Can read a little. Single. Surgeon's report: Good. Lost left thumb. 23 May 1861 - Executed for murder and confessed to 2 other murders.
