Irish National Archives. Ireland – Australia transportation Database. Ref: PPC 3360. Doc date: 1828. Benjamin Hamilton, Trial date, 1827, at Armagh. Crime: Possessing a stolen cow. Sentence: Transported for 7 years. Petitioner: Catherine Brownler, wife of other convict. Convict was convicted with him, business partner. James Brownler for the same offense. Both convicts had a cattle purchasing business in Co.Tyrone.
