—On the 2d inst. Charles Elton Harwood and Ann Trolip, charged with stealing a 50/. bank-note and other monies from the dwelling-house of R. King, of Berkeley. Cheltenham Journal, 16 May 1831. Ann Trolip was transported for life, on the Pyramus, but died on the voyage.


1872: Charles Elton HARWOOD per John (3) 1832 was granted an Absolute Pardon, No 13239. His original sentence was Death, commuted to transportation for Life (see New South Wales, Australia, Convict Records, 1810-1891).
