Henry TOPPING was convicted at Middlesex, London on 21 June 1814 or 1815. Life sentence. Transported to New South Wales, Australia per the 'Atlas'. Transferred to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Kangaroo' 1816. Aged 25yrs; brickmaker; 5'5"; Native Place: London Assigned to work service in Colony of VDL. Some minor notes of misconduct. Ticket of Leave granted. 7 Feb 1820: Marriage to Catherine GLIN (or GLENN). (n.b. index has his name as "Toppin". At Hobart. Henry aged 25yrs, a convict per Atlas and Catherine, aged 22yrs, a convict per Canada. (ref. 36/1/1 no. 371) 1 Oct 1828: Henry died, at hospital, Hobart. Aged 31yrs. To Colony per 'Kangaroo', Ticket of Leave status. (ref. 34/1/1 no. 1748)
