7/4/1837 Coventry Standard West Midlands, England: SENTENCES OF THE PRISONERS Francis Heritage, stealing money from Wm. Green, of Warwick; Francis was listed as being 25 years old on arrival - he had been convicted before and spent 9 months ironed in a hulk for stealing copper. Francis was 5'5½" tall, light brown hair, dark grey eyes, single, scar under right eye. Native Place: Warwick. 27/5/1842: TOL 15/12/1843: Recomended to the Queen for a CP 1844: Free Certificate. 28/2/1846: Permission to marry Mary Smith (Tasmania). 6/4/1846: Married at Evandale - Francis was listed as 26?? and free and Mary Smith was 26 and a Passholder. Tfhey had 10 children. 12/8/1851: Steerage passenger, Launceston to Melbourne per 'City of Melbourne' - Free by servitude. 4/1/1852: Cabin passenger Launceston to Melbourne per 'Vixen'. C1850's: Moved to Malden, Castlemaine, Vlictoria, and settled at Mia Mia new Newstead C1860. 28/8/1875: Francis died at Newstead, Victoria.
