Edward Johnston was was 16 years old on arrival in NSW. He was tried on 19/4/1828 and he was 11 years old when he was indicted. Edward was indicted along with Peter Wellington Kent (David Lyon 1830 to VDL). Edward lived in Craig's Court, Barrowfield Road, Calton, Glasgow. He was the son of William Johnston, cotton spinner. 1837: Age 21, Assigned to Archibald Bell, Invermein. 18/9/1839: TOL Invermein (listed as a labourer)
