Edward Jones (c1775-?) arrived in Sydney on 15 Feb 1806 on the ship Tellicherry from Ireland. He had been tried at Londonderry, Ireland in 1803 & received a 7 year term. [born c1775] Also Edward Jones, Age: 42, Convicted: Spring 1803 Londonderry [DRY IRL] 7 years; Transported per Tellicherry, Arrived 15 Feb 1806 Sydney; Certificate of Freedom 189
1805, Aug 17 – JONES, Edward. Per “Tellicherry”, 1806. On list of convicts embarked (in Ireland) on board the “Tellicherry”. He was aged 42 & a native of Londonderry, tried Spring 1803. (Source: SRNSW Col Sec Papers, Reel 6028; 2/8283 p.40)
