Family connections for Joseph (Hunt) are: HUNT Robert Joseph (Hunt) was born in 1789 at Middlesex. He (known as Joseph) was held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 16 9 1816 after a voyage of 8months on ATLAS. He became a shoemaker soldier & married Julia (Santry) on 25 2 1833 at (St Marys) RC Sydney. He moved to Bathurst about 1845 from Maitland. He died about 1855 age about66 at Evans Plains. [Some information taken from this Website] Julia (Santry/Santery/Sandry) daughter ??? (Santry/Santery/Sandry) & Ellen (???) was born about 1811 in Cork county Ireland. She arrived in Australia free on 10 8 1832 on RED ROVER. She became a kitchenmaid for Mr (Drew) at 32 George St before her marriage. She died on 18 9 1860 age about49 at Evans Plains & was buried at RC Bathurst.
