8/9/1821: On list of all persons victualled from H.M. Magazines. 3/5/1823: On list of persons receiving an assigned convict. 28/9/1824: Affidavit re loss of his Certificate of Freedom. 30/9/1824: COF 21/5/1829: Jonas Kay, residing in Sydney and working as a wool sorter, was robbed of a piece of cloth. 12/6/1841: Sydney Herald: Inquest on the body of Jonas Kay, an old man, employed by Mr Samuel Wells, butcher, to look after some pigs, was found dead in his hut at Glebe - Jury found he died of natural causes. 22/8/1831: COF Renewed.
