Saunders's News-Letter Dublin, Republic of Ireland 29 Jun 1815 Friday, 23—Mary Murray, and Judith Kelly, indicted for burglary and robbery in Lord Norbury's house at Cabra, the 1st instant. It appeared that the Steward's Hall was forcibly entered through the window, and the linen-presses plundered of a great quantity of linen all of which was found partly in bundles, partly round the persons of the prisoners, coming along the road from Cabra to the Royal Canal, by the watchman and police constgables, then on duty, who stopped them. Their defence was, that they were travelling from Drogheda to town, and casually found the linen upon the road. But the Jury found them guilty, and sentence of death being pronounced upon them, the Judge informed them that they had no chance of mercy, unless they disclosed the names of the men concerned with them in the crime. *Mary Murray was also on board the Alexander. Judith was listed as 36 years old on arrival in NSW. No further records found for her in VDL.
