.. quarter sessions, held  … following prisoners took their trials : … James  Dowgell, Benjamin Wade, and Joseph Lee, for stealing quantity of mutton and beef at Pudsey, the property of John Hargrove—Dawgell and Wade one year in York castle; Lee transported seven years. Sheffield Independent, 26 Jan 1822.
