Joshua was born in Shoreditch, London and baptised at St. Leonard's Church on 08/05/1825. He was the brother of 2 of my great great grandmothers. He was convicted of pickpocketing and stealing a handkerchief in Leicester Sq., London. On 13/03/1854 he married Mary Woodley in St. Andrew's Church, Longford, Carrick, Tasmania. One of his daughters Caroline born 1856 married Samuel Heathcote and hasd 13 children.
