Return of Persons convicted under the Provisions of 31 Vict No 12, week ending 12 August 1871. Ann Johnson of New Norfolk, per Henry, F.S., Offence-larceny, Sentence-2 months, Native place-Scotland, Trade-house servant, age 62 years old, 4 feet 6 1/2 inches high, resided at Richmond and New Norfolk. Tasmania Police Gazette, 18th Aug 1871, p135. Prisoner discharged from H M Gaols, Hobart & Launceston, week ending 18 Oct 1871 and 14 Oct 1871. Ann Johnson, per Henry, F.S., tried at New Norfolk, on 11 Aug 1871, for larceny, received 2 months, native place is Scotland, age 62 yrs, 4 feet 6 1/2 inches high, brown hair. Tasmania Police Gazette, 20th Oct 1871, p169.

Ann features in the book, Strumpets and Dangerous Girls. She Married convict Adam Johnson in 1841 in Richmond Tasmania. Ann and Adam had 6 children
